Ankle Sprain A sprained ankle is usually the result of “rolling” or twisting the ankle to the inside or outside. The ligaments in the ankle are stretched in the process. Unless these ligaments have sufficient flexibility and strength to handle this stress, the result is a sprain. 
Keys to Recovery Ankle sprains are usually accompanied by swelling and significant pain or tenderness. To recover properly, circulation is necessary. The following Chi Therapies are maintenance and prevention techniques, but can also aid in recovery. If you have already sustained an injury, we recommend wearing an Recovery Wrap for 12-24 hours, then doing these movements once you regain ankle mobility.
